Good morning everyone!

Before we begin, here’s a quick joke: Jesus was teaching the children one day, and a boy asked him, “Are you a good carpenter?” And he replied, “Yes, but only because my father has been in construction a looong time.”

On August 1 and 2, we’re encouraging everyone to take a simple step—invite someone to come to church with you. A friend, a neighbor, a coworker, or a family member. Sometimes people are just waiting for someone to ask.

So mark your calendars for August 1 or August 2 and think of one or two people you could invite to sit with you. A personal invitation can mean more than you realize.

Again, that’s August 1 and 2—a great weekend to bring someone along and share the experience of church together.
